US Betrayal of Israel Alliance Deepens: US-Palestinian Conference in Greece to "Recalculate Course"
The conference was held in Greece to distance itself from Israel's eyes in the West Bank. They discussed: elections, Palestinian money, and Gaza
Participating from the Palestinian side were: No. 2 in the PA, Hussein al-Sheikh, and Palestinian Intelligence Chief Faraj. From the US: MFA
The Trump administration continues to put together the puzzle of the new US policy in the Middle East. We have reported here many times on the main points of the plan, most notably the green light given by President Trump to Turkey to govern for the West in the Middle East, and even to establish there, with Iran and Pakistan, the Islamic axis, which will protect the West's assets in the Middle East, including oil, and the passage of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is already beginning to implement the new policy, see today in the main story. As part of the puzzle, the US is embroidering a new policy towards the Palestinians over Israel's head. The first move in this direction took place about a month ago in Greece, when a delegation from the US State Department met with the heads of the Palestinian Authority, under Abbas, that is, with the Palestinian figures who express the new Palestinian Authority that will be established after Abbas steps down from the stage. The conference's topics are the main ones that the Palestinians are demanding as an expression of their sovereignty, towards the declaration of a Palestinian state: limiting the settlers, the money that Israel owes them, control over Gaza, and especially holding elections in Gaza and the West Bank outside of Israel's reach. The Palestinian Authority held municipal elections about a month and a half ago to practice organizing elections and their procedures, and to prepare the ground for general elections. It is possible that it was in this context in Greece that the Palestinian electoral system was established in the West Bank and Gaza.

This week, Benjamin Netanyahu tried to meet with Trump, and Trump's response was given publicly: "I'm the boss, and Netanyahu knows it." This sounds like fun, but it is not fun at all, but is related to deciding the fate of Israel, following Donald Trump's betrayal of the US alliance with Israel, a long-standing alliance that has had its ups and downs, but neither side has ever broken the rules, as Trump has done and is still doing and intends to do.
In our assessment, this is happening due to the West's new analysis of the Middle East arena, after the two wars, Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Iran, in a way that also allows the US to respond to the humiliations that Benjamin Netanyahu has inflicted on it in the past: 1. Netanyahu's speech in front of both houses of Congress over President Obama's head. 2. Netanyahu's dismissive attitude towards Trump after Trump was defeated in the elections by Biden (Trump spoke about this in one of his interviews after the elections and expressed his anger at Netanyahu's behavior towards him), although, as mentioned, the new American policy stems mainly from the permeation of the wisdom that the West is likely to lose its assets in the Middle East, following a world war that will break out due to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a matter that requires shifting responsibility from the Arab countries to an axis that can govern the Middle East, including in Israel, which is the axis of Turkey, Iran and Pakistan. This assessment diminishes the importance and power of the State of Israel in the eyes of the West. It signals the assessment that Israel suffered a political defeat in the war with Iran, mainly because it did not understand Turkey's moves (which we have written about and warned against here repeatedly in recent years). It should be noted that all parties to the conflict are now controlled by the Islamic axis. A source told Meir Jurno, our military and security commentator, that Hamas is training in turkey without uniforms and in small groups so as not to upset the Turkish army, which is subject to the 1924 treaty that prohibits radical Islam from ruling in Turkey and prohibits the Turkish government from inciting war, or more precisely, from undermining Turkey's security.
