The reduction of the role of the tank as Israel's main weapon of war, and the reduction of the scope of tanks and tank crews, which we are reporting here in an exclusive investigation, this is the sixth week, is changing the structure of the Israeli war. The IDF took this course of action, following military studies and certainly not as an irregular decision, but the army in Israel is subordinate to the government, and thus its actions are subject to government scrutiny; and certainly, such a far-reaching move is subject to the government's ministerial responsibility, and is even subject to scrutiny by the relevant Knesset committees and the State Comptroller. But the Israeli government is now busy with regime change in Israel, and therefore the Israeli war structure is not at the forefront of its mind, or at least it has been distracted from Israel's war structure. According to the source, the Chief of Staff even intends to increase the scope of Merkava Mark 5 tanks in the order of the IDF forces. We do not know if the centralized structure of the armored force will return, and so far, we have not received a response from the IDF regarding the news about the re-examination, and therefore the news is not officially confirmed. It is our hope that we will receive the army's response in the coming days so that in the next article in the investigation series on the tank's place in the IDF's order of forces, which will be next week, we can bring authoritative statements on behalf of the IDF.
