As we estimated: Trump gave Turkey the green light for the move of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria

The Middle East of 1187, making a comeback through Turkey, Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria and Egypt; We asked an important Palestinian source this week: "Have the rebels already made contact with Hamas?" He ignored our question. Erdogan: We will corner Israel. Iran is also alarmed by Turkey's expansionist intentions.

Erdogan announced that he is sending his foreign minister to Syria soon to "work on the 'new structure' that will be established in the country" (the quote "the new structure" is quoted in the Turkish news agency by Erdogan in his own words); The Turkish president pledged to Turkish journalists to "solve Syria's energy problems quickly and strengthen trade relations with both Syria and Iraq." In our opinion, this is the reason why yesterday the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards went to the media and announced that: "Iran's power remains as it was". According to our assessment, the Iranian officer meant that if Turkey establishes an alliance with Syria and Iraq and takes Iran's place in Lebanon – as Erdogan hinted yesterday – then Turkey should know that "Iran's power remains as it was". Iran was the first to assess that the move in Syria is shared by Turkey and Trump.

In an interview that Erdogan gave to Turkish journalists on his plane while returning from Egypt yesterday, he admitted in a thick hint that Donald Trump had given Turkey the green light to act in Syria (as we assessed here with the outbreak of the coup in Syria). Erdogan said regarding Syria Trump was "actually making a situational assessment and emphasizing Türkiye's strength and influence."

Regarding Israel, Erdogan stated that it must withdraw from Syria – and the Golan Heights – and mentioned UN Resolution 242 from 1967 and made it clear that " We will corner Israel."

Erdogan demands that Israel withdraw, not only from the new territories it conquered in Syria, but also from the Golan Heights over which it asserted sovereignty with the support of the US. Commentary: Perhaps Erdogan wants Israel to withdraw from the Golan Heights so that the Turkish army will one day could enter the Syrian positions that in 1967 looked over the north of Israel from a height of 300 meters.

We described the destruction brought about by the extension of the war in Gaza today in the editorial, and we have already written about it quite a bit in the past as well; The formation of the new reality in the Middle East makes it clear that the new Middle East that appeared following the extension of the war in the Gaza Strip, may place stronger forces against Israel than ever before: Turkey, which waited for the opportunity given to it by Netanyahu's fanatical government – with the support of political journalists, is already taking steps to govern Syria, Iraq and Lebanon; Turkey's new ally – Egypt, which has already stationed forces against Israel in Sinai in violation of the peace agreement, continues to upgrade and develop its army – with the support of the US. Also the Egyptian army that is already in Sinai (including the missiles it brought into Sinai in violation of the peace agreement with Israel, and which We reported here exclusively),

will be upgraded and renewed with the funds of the Biden administration, which intends to invest billions of dollars in it, even before it is replaced on January 20. From the two moves, one Trump's support for Turkey, and the other Biden's support for the Egyptian army, it is clear that the new American moves may reduce Israel's independence.

Commentary: Israel must take this into account immediately, including a significant expansion of the Israeli defense industries, including the establishment of new armored divisions, expanding the production of all types of armaments, and the development of an Israeli fighter jet. At the same time, Israel must initiate an international conference for the withdrawal of Turkey (and then Israel) from Syria, and for the demobilization of Sinai. as well as the establishment of a Palestinian state, and the establishment of a regional alliance with Palestine, Jordan, and the Gulf states before Turkey and Egypt convince them to go with them – to the Middle East of the Battle of Hittin 1187 (The US should remember who Salah al-Din was fighting against at the time, whom Erdogan wants to be likened to, and why. Ignoring the religious component in Erdogan's thinking is dangerous for the West). And if this indeed happens, Israel will face formidable forces that are like the ones they faced only in the War of Liberation in 1948.

The first to understand the new Middle East was Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Abu Mazen, who entered Jenin to meet Trump's demand that he demonstrate the ability to govern; At the same time, Abu Mazen is trying to get a charter on Gaza from the US; he understands that the alliance of Hamas with Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria will bring an end to his rule and an end to the Palestinian hope for political independence – which, in our estimation, will be destroyed by the modern Salah al-Din/Erdoğan and the Muslim Brotherhood. In our estimation, the security establishment in Israel understands Abu Mazen's claims, and it may try to convince Netanyahu's fanatical government to see this forecast for the future. The chance of that is slim, mainly because the Netanyahu government has not completely come to the end of the mind of Donald Trump who is now playing a complex game; This is a game that could shatter in his hands as the Middle East has shattered countless times in the hands of the USA. And we will say it again, Turkey is not the ally that Trump's USA thinks it is, Turkey sees itself as an empire long before the USA was founded, and certainly does not see itself as a satellite state of the USA.
