However, Iran may flex its position regarding Lebanon, to the extent that the agreement in Vienna is signed soon. In our estimation, Iran is using the threat of Hezbollah to hasten the US to sign the renewal of the nuclear agreement. Along with Nasrallah's attempts during the interview not to clarify the full meaning of his words, he explicitly says that the advice to possess naval missiles came from Iran. This military advice led in the Second Lebanon War to the launch of a naval missile that hit the Hanit navy ship, resulting in the death of four IDF soldiers, and the towing of Achi Hanit to Israel.
