Putin and Khamenei want a replacement for the dollar and SWIFT

Policy is a fickle idea, it arises from the thought of a political entity, but when it enters the arena, it becomes independent, and no longer depends on its sources; Last week we wrote here about Israel's war policy towards Iran, which may turn out to be the one that promoted the Iranian nuclear. This week we can check this questioning, about the deep Western sanctions against the Eastern Axis, and especially Russia and Iran, sanctions whose rate or even existence probably promote a bipolar political world. The one, western world, has a dollar and SWIFT, which is a system that records money transfers in the world, about half of which are done in dollars. And for the second, eastern world, there may be the Chinese yuan, and in addition the new system of the digital yuan, which aspires to be the eastern swift, that is, the money transfer system that will compete with Swift.

Last week, the Iranian leader Khamenei met with the Russian President Putin. Khamenei said at the meeting that "we need to slowly and consistently remove the dollar from the route of international money transfers, and this is possible step by step"

To put his words into the context of two global political axes, one western and the other eastern, Khamenei supported the war that Russia started in Ukraine by saying "If the road was open to NATO, it would know no boundaries, and if it was not blocked in Ukraine, sometime later More, on the pretext of Crimea, NATO would start this war (against Russia, tipp)"

After these comments, Khamenei described his vision for the economic system that is on the fence against NATO, SWIFT and the dollar, which he wants to replace, when he said that national currencies should initially be used in money transfers, that is, the riyal and the ruble, and later in other currencies, apparently alluding to the Chinese yuan. How far is this reality of competition for Swift? very far away but it is possible that extreme, deep and unbalanced sanctions bring it closer.
