Palestinian Prime Minister Shtiya was quick this week to meet with representatives from Jenin (including Jibril Rajoub's cousin). He did this after the publication we had, according to which leaders in Fatah want to go down to the street in Jenin and gain strength there, and not stay in the Ivory Tower in Ramallah, and that such a move could advance Marwan Barghouti's candidacy for head of Fatah after Abu Mazen's retirement. In the Abu Mazen administration, they do not want Barghouti. In the photo you can see activists from Jenin, headed by Jenin Governor Akram Rajoub, a cousin of Jibril Rajoub who will face Barghouti when the day comes. This tension will probably be reflected in the eighth conference of the Fatah movement, which will be (after it has already been postponed) in the summer of 2022.
